Shields clashing, swords flashing,
People roaring, tears puring,
Blood flowing, torches glowing,
People swearing, soldiers tearing,
searching for strays and those who would pay,
the price War has set today...
Death came to claim, so many slain,
None can hear above the sound,
of blood splashing against the ground
None can see through the smoke,
that swirls around all these folk...
The flash of steel, shines with such veal,
Reflecting the faces of those who'd soon be gone...
Faces filled with fear, anger, and hate...
Oh, how they set the bait,
and tempt dear old War to this place...
Through the world and all the stress,
Is there no way for me to express?
The feelings i hold in my heart,
the pain lurking in the dark.
So much love, yet so much hate,
is there no way for me to clean this slate?
And start anew, like so few...
So many laughs, yet so many tears,
I've gone through all these years,
barely holding on, coming close to being gone...
Yet seeing none to care.
Is there no one I can share?
All my smiles and heartache,
when I stand firm and when I shake.
All I want is someone to hold onto,
someone to guide me through...
All i want is someone who'll love me to the end.
All I want is someone...
All I
Dust blowing in the breeze,
what I wouldn't give to please...
And bring back those once lost,
so many lives given at such cost.
That man who sits in the bar?
Lost his brother in the war.
That girl crying in the street?
Her mother's illness couldn't be beat.
That boy in the hospital, room 210?
Doesn't have a single friend.
That old man who lives all alone?
Used to have a family to call his own.
That tired woman who works at the store?
A single mother of four.
All these tears,
Shed through the years...
So many hopes, so many dreams
So many cries, so many screams.
As dust blows in the breeze,
What I wouldn't give t
It shouldn't be allowed.
It can't be. It shouldn't be.
But it happened anyway.
I've gone and fallen and I don't
think I can get up again.
I've fallen too hard, too fast...
The walls I built around my heart
have crumbled...
All because I met you.
How could this happen?
How could I break the unwritten law
of my heart?
It's forbidden to fall, and yet I fell.
Will I get back up? Can I get back up?
When I first met you, I didn't know what
to do.
We started as friends, but slowly that grew.
Before I knew it, I'd fallen for you.
It's forbidden, I know it is.
But maybe this once...
Just this once...
I'll break that law.
Could this really be it?
This opening, this way out, that I've
needed for so long?
Could this really be the release I've
searched for, longed for?
This long awaited escape from reality?
The sounds, flowing from my fingers...
The notes, the feelings...
All forming the song my heart longs to sing.
The music, the sounds, the sensations...
All creating the song of my life.
The notes, dancing through my mind,
serenading my ears with their beauty...
The song, swirling through the air, mesmerizing
all who hear.
Could this really be the release I've needed
for so long?
For all my hopes, my dreams, my sorrows, my
griefs...
"Oooow, oooow." the gray wolf howled at the night sky again and again, giving voice to the grief in her heart. She cried out again, knowing there were none to answer her call. She was the last of the Kenla pack, the only one to have survived the brutal winter. Calsor, Elnessa, Icarus... None had lived. Heart raised her head again, singing her song one last time before falling silent. She could not remain in one place for very long. Her cries would have alerted any predators in the area of her presence and she was not recovered enough to fight.
Yet. Heart curled her lips back, baring her fangs at an unseen enemy. She would h
"Tell me a story, Mama!" little Jason pleaded with his mother. "It's bedtime, Jason. You need to go to sleep." "Please?" the little boy begged. "Yes, Mama. Tell us a bedtime story." agreed his twin sister, Amy. "Oh alright." their mother, Rosetta, gave in. "What story would you like to hear?" she asked once the two seven-year olds had settled into their beds. "The Dragon Story!" declared Jason.
"The Dragon Story?" repeated Rosetta. "I haven't told that one in a long time. Are you sure you want to hear it?" "Yes!" said Amy. "Very well." Rosetta sat in a chair between the twin's beds. Her green eyes started to glisten as she began
"How could he do this to me?" she muttered. "After all we've been through..." Max turned over on her bed to face the wall, squeezing her eyes shut to stop the tears pooling in her eyes. Unfortunately, that didn't stop the memory of that day from forcing its way into her mind. "I can't believe he did that." Max thought. She clenched her jaw when she thought of Lissa, the Red-Haired Wonder, shoving Fang (her Fang!) against the wall in the hallway and kissing him.
A tear leaked from her eye as Max remembered what Fang had done in return. Pushed Lissa away? Nope. Told Lissa he didn't like her like that? Of course not! No, Fang had gone and kis

If only the band teacher had come on Wednesday, March 25. If he had gone, she and her could have been known as important people, not dangerous people. They could have been recognized as people who discovered amazimg things, not for what everyone thought they did.
When Janey Blumenfield opened her eyes that morning, she was surprised to see her room colored gray instead of black. She looked at her Hello Kitty alarm clock. 7:29. "Oh, God, I'm going to be late again!"she growled. She quickly pulled on a black shirt, black jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers. After eating a breakfast of granola bars and orange juice, ahe brushed her teeth an

And we all think he's just gonna give us a pep talk, wish us luck, tell us to behave... No. Now we know why Doc (band director) never showed up this morning... :'( God i'm so sad... Even a bunch of the guys started crying. Canceled the show for today, but have plenty of ideas for his funeral and what we're gonna do for homecoming.
